Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray addressed the people through Facebook live about the next phase of ongoing Covid-19 lockdown.
Here are the key developments.
Government got approval to use antiviral drugs Favipiravir and Remdesivir for Covid-19 treatment.
Thackeray assured that government is looking at the possibility of making Remdesivir and Favipiravir available for the people free of cost.
The government is considering to increase the number of Covid care centres.
The patients who have been administered with Plasma therapy shown significant improvement. Thackeray requested those who have recovered from coronavirus to step forward and voluntarily donate their plasma for the speedy recovery of others.
Thackeray appealed senior doctors from the age group above 60 yrs to provide help in treating Covid-19 patients.
He assured that their health and safety will be taken care of.
Apart from barber shops and salons are allowed to function, no further relaxation are given for post June period.
